We offer a range of palatable flavors for dogs and cats, including chicken, bacon, fish, and beef, as well as other options available on request. Flavor is added without changing the medication's active ingredients. The veterinarian can specify the preferred flavor in the prescription.
For cats that refuse oral tablets or capsules, transdermal gels applied to the inner ear allow the medication to absorb through the skin without oral administration. For medications where a gel is not appropriate, flavored liquid suspensions are often a workable alternative. The veterinarian determines which form is appropriate for the specific medication.
